Built By An Artist For Artists
Electric Pagoda Printing began in 2023 out of necessity. As an artist himself, Chris de Armas struggled to find a place that could produce true, museum-quality prints at a price that artists could realistically resell to their clients. The shops that offer quality prints were often too expensive, while the affordable options lacked the craftsmanship and color accuracy that the artwork deserved. The solution was to build something different: museum-quality gicleée printing at an artist's price.
No need to be a big shot to have beautiful prints made of your work. The name Electric Pagoda was inspired by a trip Chris took to Nepal in 2018, tattooing among the temples and stupas — pagodas that stand as sacred spaces built to house sacred relics. That philosophy became the foundation of the company. We treat every piece of artwork that comes through our shop with that same level of care and respect. If we are working from your original artwork, it is handled and protected as if it were a sacred relic itself.
At Electric Pagoda Printing, having an artist’s eye is essential to what we do. Every person involved in the making of your prints is an artist in one way or another. We understand the importance of representing artwork accurately, preserving the intention, texture, color, and feeling of the original piece. Because we understand that responsibility firsthand, we refuse to cut corners.
Crafted with care, admired for years.
We produce true giclée prints using archival pigment inks, acid-free archival papers, and a 12-color pigment process designed for exceptional color depth, longevity, and detail. Every paper we offer has been hand-selected through years of testing to complement different styles of artwork, textures, and applications. While each paper varies in thickness, texture, and material, all are museum-quality, waterproof, and lightfast to ensure your artwork endures for years to come.
If you are unsure which paper best suits your work, we are always happy to provide guidance and samples.
As Electric Pagoda Printing continued to grow, we realized there was an opportunity to do more than produce beautiful prints. After color matching and archiving a growing collection of artwork, we saw the potential to help expand the reach of the artists we work with. Today, we collaborate with select artists to offer open editions, limited releases, one-off prints, and exclusive collaborations through our platform. We also organize art shows and events featuring exclusive print releases created specifically for those exhibitions.
Our goal extends beyond printing. We want to help create opportunities for artists, connect people with meaningful artwork, and contribute to the culture surrounding independent art.
Artists helping artists. That’s what it’s all about.
